Stonewood Estate Swimming Pool

The biggest sham of an HOA ever. First, they bring absolutely no value to the homeowners of the area. Yes there is a pool, but it is primarily used by their swim team or senior citizens. They have a ton of rules in place to discourage families with kids from using the pool, and they also have ridiculous hours that are not family friendly. Most egregious about this HOA is that they charged me a $40 late fee for not paying my annual dues after I didn’t know how/where to pay as a new resident in the area. I asked repeatedly for a link for where to pay, and finally after the sixth time I asked, I finally received a link (along with a late fee). This is a nice area with nice homes, but definitely has no value from the HOA.

The people inside the gate said it’s an “hoa” home owners association or who is around their neighborhood only but I seen them letting other people in who might not be in their neighborhood so I thought it would be fine to come in also. It makes us feel or seem like we can’t come in to swim on a hot day bc we were different skin tone and or race from them.

So many rules yet you allow people that don't live in the area to come and swim here.

My little family and I enjoyed swimming here this Summer. Although the solar panels make the grass a little mushy it still provides shade for parents who aren't swimming. And the lifeguards are very friendly
